Think Before You Type
Understand the problem and the impact before reaching for the first technical solution.
We work on Magento projects that involve real technical depth — complex builds, migrations, integrations, performance and ongoing development for businesses that rely on ecommerce.
Much of our work sits beyond straightforward theme changes or installing another extension. We deal with existing platforms, legacy data, bespoke requirements and systems that need to work together.
That means investigating before changing things, understanding the wider platform and being comfortable when the problem crosses code, database, APIs or infrastructure.
If you enjoy understanding why something is happening rather than simply making the error disappear, you will probably enjoy the work.
Technical knowledge matters, but so do judgement, curiosity and the ability to communicate clearly.
Understand the problem and the impact before reaching for the first technical solution.
Magento problems rarely respect neat boundaries. Be willing to follow the evidence into unfamiliar parts of the stack.
Being able to explain a complicated technical problem simply is an important engineering skill.
Do not stop investigating just because the first error belongs to another technical layer.
Write solutions that another developer can understand and safely work with later.
The requested solution is not always the right solution. Understanding the objective comes first.
The exact work changes from project to project, but the interesting bits usually involve solving something specific rather than repeating the same implementation.
Sometimes the answer lives in Magento. Sometimes it does not. Finding out is part of the job.

Nobody knows every corner of Magento, PHP, Linux, databases, frontend development and infrastructure.
Being able to investigate, learn and reason through unfamiliar problems is considerably more useful than pretending otherwise.
A few useful questions before sending an application or introduction.
Any specific vacancies will be advertised on this page. Speculative introductions are also welcome from people with relevant Magento, ecommerce or development experience.
It depends on the role. Strong PHP, ecommerce and general engineering experience can also be valuable, particularly where you are comfortable learning a complex platform.
A short introduction, relevant experience and examples of previous work are useful. Links to GitHub, LinkedIn or a portfolio can help provide additional context.
